Family Home Evening

So we decided to try out family home evening with Benjamin, seeing how he does not sit still for long we came up with a fun idea for him. He is not talking yet, only words here and there, so we are picking a word each week and coming up with an activity with the word. This week we did shoes, so we brought all our shoes out and he had alot of fun trying them on and walking around with them on. He was so cute. I think he enjoyed the snack more, we had oreo's and he was an awsome dunker!!! He also loved the song. We did "Ring and around the Rosies" He did not want to stop!!! He is so much fun.

We figure its never to early to start them on chores!!! Benjamin loves to help Mommy vacuum the floors, I probably vacuum every day because he makes a huge mess on the carpet everyday!! He is so cute!!

Here is my Shout out to Benjamin

He is really keeping Brent and I busy with his ever growing personality. He is starting to say alot more words, like hi, shoes, and more. He loves to run around and be free, the minute you capture him to be still is when the screaming starts. He is working on folding his arms during prayer, which is so cute, we have a hard time getting through them because we just have these huge smiles on our faces!!! He is so much fun and brings so much love to our family!!! He still does not understand that there is a baby in my belly because he loves to jump and sit on my stomach!!

San Diego Trip

Brent and I were able to go to San Diego last weekend to deliver an airplane to one of Brent's buddies down there. It was so much fun. Thanks to Mimi, Grammers, and Mandi for watching Benjamin for us so we can enjoy probably one of our last Vacations kidless!!! Brent went flying in the morning while I hung out at the Hotel and got my TV fix in for the next three months then we went to our favorite burger joint Island's for lunch. They have the best burgers and fries. Then we went to the USS Midway which was really fun to walk around and see all the many planes, I hung out under the wings or in front of the mister fans!!! It was really humid that day, plus being preggers I am always hot anyways. Then we headed to the San Diego Temple to do a session!! We went to have dinner and visit Chris and his family(Brent flying buddy) for a bit and it turned into 5 hours of fun. Lets just say Brent and I ate alot of sunflower seads and cherry coke the whole way home. We clocked in around 4:15 a.m. But over all it was so much fun. Now we are getting ready for the next two weekends in July with family and friends!!

Family Fun

This is Poppi BBQ 101, all the future BBQ boys huddles around Poppi for there lesson. They are all freshly buzzed also thanks to Aunt Sissy!!!
Benjamin loves his pool, but not the bath???? He had alot of fun splashing!!

Brent was trying to horn in the crib and Benjamin was just not havin it, so hence the fist in the jaw!!!
He is getting some reading time in the car, what a smart little guy!!!

Buz boys, a nice sunday strol in the ol'car!! They look so much like each other with the buzz, it helps that they are the same size!!!
